DIRECTOR

Marilyn Tolbert

I am thrilled to be the Director of this wonderful school. I have been in education for the past nine years – teaching and being an administrator. Prior to my coming to KinderFrogs, I was the Education Director for River Legacy Living Science Center and their Nature School.

Purple blood truly runs through my veins. I received my B.S. in Education and my Master of Education from Texas Christian University. I have an early childhood endorsement, a Gifted/Talented endorsement and an English as a Second Language endorsement, as well as a Principal certification.

I am a member of Kappa Delta Pi (International Honor Society in Education), NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), ASCD (Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development), DEC (Division of Exceptional Children), ACEI (Association for Childhood Education International), CEC (Council for Exceptional Children) and NSTA (National Science Teachers Association).

I am married and in my “leisure hours” we enjoy boating, working in the yard, and taking vacations to the beach and the mountains.

TODDLER CLASSROOM

Libby Middleton

Hello friends! My name is Mrs. Libby Middleton and I am so excited to be starting my first year here at KinderFrogs. You can tell from the moment that you walk in the doors here that it is a special place full of special people. I have been teaching for the past four years in a functional academics class in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford school district. I graduated in 2003 from Texas A&M University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

My husband, Brandon, and I have been married for almost 5 years. We have a 1 year old daughter named Audrey Kate. I grew up in East Texas and moved to the Fort Worth area shortly after I got married. My family and I like to travel, exercise, and spend quality time with family and friends.

I knew from the time that I was a young adult that I wanted to work with students with learning differences. Special education holds a special place in my heart. I believe that all students are capable of learning and students generally meet the expectations we set for them, high or low.

From me, you can expect open and honest communication. I will treat the students in my classroom as my own and hold them to the highest standards. I will do my best to see that they become the most successful individuals that they can be. Thanks for sharing your child with me!

L.E.A.P. CLASSROOM

Kristen Adams

I have been in special education since 1995 and joined KinderFrogs in 2001. Having taught in a variety of educational settings, I made the move to early childhood while working on my Master’s degree at TCU. I have taught in both the Toddler and Pre-K classrooms and am currently the lead teacher in the L.E.A.P. class. My favorite aspect of education is helping a student master a new skill—they are always so proud of themselves! I feel fortunate to be part of such a wonderful program and am inspired by our students and their families.
